Only 15 minutes from the Black Bear Inn. 802-253-6221 Snowshoe Trekking Bolton Valley Resort Enjoy over 35 kilometers of trails just steps from the inn. Bring your own equipment or rent at the Bolton Valley Nordic Center. Every Saturday from 2-4pm the Center offers two-hour guided snowshoe tours on groomed and backcountry trails. This is a great introduction to snowshoeing and teaches the basic techniques. Explore the forests and mountains; learn about the history of the trails while searching for signs of wildlife. 802-434-6876.
