From Burlington International Airport
From the airport parking lot, make a left turn and go to the first stop light.

Option 1: Make a left turn at the light (Route 2) and stay on the road until you come to your next traffic light. Bear right at this light (you will still be on Route 2). Drive 15 miles, going thru the town of Williston, then Richmond. Continue straight on Route 2 and you will come into the town of Bolton (look for the Sunoco gas station on the right). Cross under the I-89 bridge and make a sharp left turn onto the Bolton Valley Access Rd. – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.

Option 2: At the first stop light leaving the airport, make a right turn onto Route 2 until you come to I-89. Take I-89 South towards Montpelier, and take Exit 11. At the end of the exit, take a right turn and drive for 8 miles into the town of Bolton (look for the Sunoco gas station on the right). Cross under the I-89 bridge and make a sharp left turn onto the Bolton Valley Access Rd. – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right..

From Burlington going South on I-89
Go South on I-89 to Exit 11 (Richmond/Bolton Exit). At the bottom of the ramp, make a right turn. Pass through the town of Richmond (approx. 3 miles), and continue to the town of Bolton. Look for a Sunoco gas station on the right side. Quickly past the Sunoco you will turn left onto the Bolton Valley Access Road – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.

From Montpelier going North on I-89
Go North on I-89 to the Waterbury/Stowe Exit (Exit 10). At the bottom of the ramp, make a left turn, and cross over I-89. Continue to stop sign. Make a right turn, and continue for 6.5 miles. I-89 will be on your left, and a mobile-home park will be on your right. Continue 1 mile past the park and make an immediate right turn onto Bolton Access Road – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.

From Ottawa
Take 417 east, then 40 east towards Montreal. Take 10 east to 35 south, which leads to 133, or continue on 10 east to 133. Stay on 133 south to Vermont. Once in the U.S., 133 becomes I-89. Stay on I-89 to Exit 11. At the end of the exit ramp, make a right turn onto Route 2A East. Drive 8 miles to the town of Bolton. Cross under the I-89 bridge, and make an immediate left turn onto Bolton Access Road – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.

From Quebec/Montreal
Take highway 20 south to Montreal. Pass through Montreal and take Route 30 south (sign reads “New York and Vermont”). Head south on Route 133 to Canadian/US border. Once in the U.S., 133 becomes I-89. Stay on I-89 to Exit 11. At the end of the exit ramp, make a right turn onto Route 2A East. Drive 8 miles to the town of Bolton. Cross under the I-89 bridge, and make an immediate left turn onto Bolton Access Road – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.

From Connecticut (Stanford -Bridgeport – Hartford – New Haven)
Take 95 north to New Haven, then I-91 north towards Hartford. Stay on 91 north through Massachusetts and on through Vermont. Continue on 91 to White River Junction. Take 89 northwest towards Montpelier/Burlington. Go west on I-89 to the Waterbury/Stowe Exit (Exit 10). At the bottom of the ramp, make a left turn, and cross over I-89. Continue to stop sign. Make a right turn, and continue for 6.5 miles. I-89 will be on your left, and a mobile-home park will be on your right. Continue 1 mile past the park and make an immediate right turn onto Bolton Access Road – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.

From Boston
Take I-93 north to New Hampshire. Take I-89 to the Vermont border. Stay on I-89 North to the Waterbury/Stowe Exit (Exit 10). At the bottom of the ramp, make a left turn, and cross over I-89. Continue to stop sign. Make a right turn, and continue for 6.5 miles. I-89 will be on your left, and a mobile-home park will be on your right. Continue 1 mile past the park and make an immediate right turn onto Bolton Access Road – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.

From New York City/Albany
Take I-87 Tollroad north to Albany. Exit at tollway and take I-87 North to exit #20 at Fort Ann (Rt 149E). Take Route 4 North/East to Route 22A north into Vermont. Continue on 22A to Route 7 – look for a large green sign reading “189 East to I-89.” Take I-89 south towards Montpelier and take Exit 11. At the end of the exit, take a right turn and drive for 8 miles to Bolton. Cross under the I-89 bridge and make a left turn immediately – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.

Note: Summer Time In the summer you can stay on I-87 north. Look for Essex N.Y. sign and Ferry signs. Take the ferry across Lake Champlain to Charlotte, Vt., then take Route 7 north towards Burlington. Look for sign for 189 Montpelier, and follow same directions as above.

Option 2 from New York
From New York City, take I-95 to New Haven, Ct. Take I-91 north to Vermont until you reach I-89. Take I-89 north to Burlington. Continue on to the Waterbury/Stowe Exit (Exit 10). At the bottom of the ramp, make a left turn, and cross over I-89. Continue to stop sign. Make a right turn, and continue for 6.5 miles. I-89 will be on your left, and a mobile-home park will be on your right. Continue 1 mile past the park and make an immediate right turn onto Bolton Access Road – you will see a green sign that says, “Bolton Valley Ski Area.” Continue on this road for 4 miles until you reach the Black Bear Inn, located on your right.
