4th Annual Get Out and Backcountry Ski Festival
The Catamount Trail Association (CTA) will host its 4th Annual Get Out and Backcountry Ski Festival on January 22, 2012 at Bolton Valley. This unique and popular event is designed to give the beginner to intermediate backcountry skier the knowledge and skills necessary to comfortably explore winter wilderness areas on skis.The day will culminate with an après ski party.

Sleigh Rides at Shelburne Farms

Magic Hat Mardi Gras Parade
On Saturday March 5th, gather in downtown Burlington at 3 p.m., to watch as a promenade of 45 fantastic floats passes by, along with the frenzied hurling of beads! Over 40 floats take part in the Magic Hat Mardi Gras Parade in Burlington, which is followed by parties and live music. Sponsored by local brewery Magic Hat, the festivities raise money for the Vermont Women's Rape Crisis Center.
