About the Inn

Here’s where you will find the charm of a small country inn with modern conveniences.

All of our twenty-five individually decorated rooms and suites include beds adorned with handmade quilts, antique furnishings, private baths, cable TV, wireless internet access, and most importantly a friendly staff who will make you feel at home. The Inn also has a six-person Hotsprings hot tub that is available to all guests, year-round. A full country breakfast is always included in your stay. Other amenities can include Vermont firestoves, balconies, and private outdoor hot tubs.

The Black Bear is Vermont’s only slopeside country inn, with direct access in the winter to Bolton Valley Resort’s trails (typically begining Jan. 1). Discount lift tickets are always available for purchase at our front desk.

All rooms are based on double occupancy and subject to 9% Rooms and Meals tax and 15% service charge in lieu of gratuity.

An extra person charge of $15 applies for rooms with more than two people.
